    The written instructions aren’t the greatest, so I highly suggest looking at you tube channel Tech Angel.. She has a great assembly instruction video. Once I watched her video, I understood the assembly. The wheel rolls quietly.. Moreso than I expected. I have one cat that has taken to it immediately, and one cat being cautious. It’s a beautifully made product.. My main complaint, is some of the screws, the heads aren’t made well and some strip too easily. I had to use pliers to loosen those up and replace with a fresh screw. Fortunately, we are given extra screws.. Very thoughtful. The four star is because of the less than stellar screw quality.

    At the time of purchase, there were no reviews for this item, but it looked so similar to another one I was looking at (yet much cheaper) that I decided to take the risk. So far, I have been very pleased with this product! It arrived earlier than expected and was very well-packaged. It’s designed quite well, with plywood components and preset holes. It came with plenty of extra hardware, and even a screwdriver, some gloves, and sandpaper if needed. It took me a few hours to put it together, but the instructions were simple and clear enough. Once assembled, it’s a very heavy and sturdy wheel, and it rolls smoothly and quietly. I did stick some felt pads along the bottom to make it easier to slide around and avoid scratching our wood floors.

    I bought this because we have a large cat that desperately needs exercise to help burn excess energy and hopefully lose some weight. She’s not really very playful, though, so this has been a real challenge. My expectations were low, so imagine my shock when she briefly walked on it twice on her own, without any encouragement from me. Now, being a cat, she may decide she’s had her fun and never touch it again, but this has certainly given me some hope!

    Overall, this seems like a very good product so far, and I am happy with my purchase!

     It was easy to put together by myself with a cordless drill on a low power setting. There were LOTS of leftover screws and such in the hardware bag. The printed instructions included good info that’s not in the assembly video, but it failed to mention anything at all about the smaller bracing pieces which was in the video.

    After unpacking everything, I sprayed the carpet runner with a bit of catnip and let them play around with it so they’d be a little familiar with its scent. I let them play in and around the base after assembly as well. Those two new things helped keep them busy while I worked on putting the wheel together.

    As soon as I got it finished, they were on it with no encouragement needed. The attached video is just 20 minutes after assembly. This guy is just 8 months old and he’s already a bit possessive of it.

    It’s sturdy, safe, a great size, a good value and performs flawlessly.

    Easy to assemble if you follow instructions exactly. Not too noisy. My cats haven’t taken to running on it yet but we just got it so hopefully we’ll work on that. Nice large size

     Loopwiel duurt wel even om in elkaar te zetten, als je moeilijk instructies kan lezen zal het nog moeilijk gaan ook gezien de instructies niet te simpel worden uitgelegd. Uiteindelijk wel gelukt. Is perfect van grootte en is echt heel stevig. Je hebt de optie om het wiel op slot te zetten wat voor sommigen misschien handig kan zijn. Alles past perfect. Mijn bengaalse kat houdt er enorm van, hij is het al gewoon.

    We have spent a few hours putting this together and after putting together it is extremely loud while spinning and we ensured we tightened all screws etc. tried to return and it states I have to drop off the item to UPS which means I’m going to have to take apart the hours of work spent.

    It took us about two hour to put together but if you have a drilled it will be faster. Instructions are not the best but can be figure out. It is not super quiet but also not too loud and there is a latch to stop it from moving at any time. Nice quality, good finish and even extra screws and tools. Cat needed a couple of days to get the hang of it but once she did it was non stop from there, she loves it and is getting better at it every day she now runs without stumbling for several seconds at a time. So happy with this purchase.

     It was exactly what I wanted. It comes with everything needed even to assemble it. It took me around two hours to finish but I was taking my time. Before ordering I knew already that my cat would love something like this so it was a no brainer. To those who are wondering if it’s loud, yeah it’s pretty loud. I really don’t mind it though because it’s always a treat to watch my boy run on it like a little hamster. I don’t lock it to stay stationary though because although I set the velcro up properly my cat scratches his claws and accidentally pulls the carpet off

    Me ha sorprendido, me esperaba peor calidad por el precio que trae pero está muy bien terminado, trae destornillador, guantes, tornillos y tacos de sobra. La moqueta es buena para durar toda la vida y va bien ajustada, y pasador para bloquear la rueda.

     My Jelly is an absolute scaredy cat, but also very food motivated, it took a few tries and rubbing catnip into the carpet but she can now speed walk on the wheel for treats!
    She’s gotten on it herself twice but only does a slow, cautious walk to see if I’ve hidden any treats in the lip of the carpet, but this is only day four of having the wheel, so it’s big progress!
    It might seem counter productive to give treats while getting her to exercise but I’m hoping that she’ll eventually run on it without me prompting her with them.
    It’s sturdy, big enough to fit my cat and slim enough to be put to the side out of the way, it’s noisy but so what? It’s much more entertaining watching your cat on this than anything else you could be doing!
    I would recommend a drill when putting it together, but the instructions were easy to follow.
    We’ve used it every day since we got it and haven’t had any wobblies so far!

    I decided to try this because it looks sturdier than the “name brand” one. I just put it together and wanted to share my thoughts so far. One of my cats did climb on with some toy motivation. The other one attempted to twice but stopped when the wheel started to move. It seems promising though.

    Pros: Arrived 2 days early, sturdy, plenty of room (bought the largest size to be safe), pretty simple to put together if you’ve ever put together furniture before, came with a bunch of extra hardware

    Cons: the carpet insert liner thing is one piece and it was about an inch too short. It would have been better to have multiple pieces to make it easier to install, ensure it stays straight when you’re installing it, and to replace it in the future. The clearance between the wheel and the base (where the cat would be running) is small, but after my cat stepped on I realized it’s just big enough for a toe bean to go in so that does worry my slightly. Also the base ends (on the outside of the wheel where the fish lock is) have a large enough space for a cat to easily put their arm in so it’s a concern that one cat will be messing around with an arm in it and another cat decides to jump on. For now I will make sure it’s “locked” when I’m sleeping or busy until I know they are more familiar with it.

    I do have high hopes for it and will update after I make more progress with the cats.
