Not Who You Expect –
I only went with 3 rather than 2 stars because the audio quality of these headphones is decent.
Monster had a reputation at one time for excellent audio cables so I expected something remarkable from them with these headphones but what I received instead were only adequate cans with some odd features that don’t really seem particularly helpful and at least one very important missing feature.
The included boom mic doesn’t work so there’s that. I know it’s getting power because when I hit the mic off button the red light on the boom mic turns on but when it is attached my voice cannot be heard. I have to remove it to speak.
In this price range, $150 at the time of this writing, it would not be unreasonable to expect active noise canceling but that’s not a feature offered by these headphones.
The audio quality is decent. I have other headphones that sound better but they also cost more so the quality/price ratio is reasonable if you overlook the missing ANC. Those other headphones include good ANC.
I have to give props for the nice case. Too many good headphones ship with either no case or with just a flimsy bag. These include a nice hard shell chase that protects your headphones properly and gives you a place to store charging cable and audio cable and your possibly non-functioning boom mic.
While I haven’t given it a long-term test the battery life does seem to be quite good. I’ve been using these for quite a while now and the battery still reports 90%. I imagine one reason the battery life is so good is the lack of ANC. That disqualifies these headphones for use on planes, trains or autos. So I guess they’re meant to be used at home exclusively?
I’m not sure what the point is of magnetically attached earpieces. if you ever need to replace them that will make the job easy but it’s not that hard to replace earpieces on other headphones and even if you wear your headphones for hours a day this only comes up every year or two at most. Because these lack ANC it’s unlikely you will wear them enough to wear out the earpieces quickly.
In general I cannot recommend that these headphones are the best way to spend $150 on headphones. I recommend you find some that have good ANC and decent battery life. If you have to spend a little more than $150 in the long run it would be worth it.
I cannot imagine a person for whom these would be the best headphones. I suppose the extended battery life might make them right for someone who lives where there are frequent extended power outages.
I suppose if you run a recording studio and want some ok cans for the occasional visitor these might be good for that.

Part of the headband cracked within an hour of me opening the package while I was adjusting the headband and the mic attachment (which doesn’t even work in wired mode no good for console/pc users)

This light weight wireless Bluetooth on-ear headphones offer a powerful audio experience with their 50mm integrated dynamic drivers. Designed for extended use, they deliver up to 60 hours of playtime on a single charge. The ultra-lightweight design ensures comfort, making them ideal for long listening sessions. These headphones come equipped with a detachable professional-grade microphone, perfect for calls or gaming, and include a protective case for safe storage. Whether you’re listening to music or taking calls, the Monster Elements Air headphones provide clear, immersive sound and reliable functionality. The sound quality is crisp, top notch, 5/5. The materials it is in isn’t all that impressive, but the trade off is the fact that it is lightweight.
Lightweight is super important if you know about the gamer’s dent. This headphone doesn’t seat on your head, it is secured around your head by each ear muds clapping on to your head. Great product all around!

These headphones are decent but for they are overpriced. If they were like 70 dollars they would be good but for 149.00, too expensive. These have no ANC, passive isolation is pretty good, sound is flat but sounds really good with decent bass and punch but sub bass is not on par with the rest of the frequencies but still good. Bass heads look elsewhere.. They are comfortable and look cool and the hard case is a plus. Cables are heavy duty, some of the best I have seen that come with a BT headphone. They connect easily and stay connected, no dropouts in over 2 hours listening to them. I actually like the sound but 149.00 is too high for what you get. Controls work perfectly, no issues. At the current price they are 4 stars. If they were 70 they would be great.

These are lightweight, easy to use and actually comfortable! I love the “monster” size over my ears and the Bluetooth helps me work all around the house while listening to my music. There is a mic attachment and the ability to answer your phone if it’s attached and this is a nice feature as well. I prefer to attach it to my computer music and not be bothered with the phone. This wireless headphone is really easy to use and comfortable to wear. It comes in its own case which is super nice and provides the proper protection for headphones this nice. The sound is quite good! Win/win!
