With higher scale ADD, I’ve been taking 40mg of Adderall throughout the day for about a decade now. I’m a 45 y/o middle class family guy. I’m new to Nutropics and have been looking for supplements without caffeine because of the Adderall and addictive nature of it (took me a long time to get off coffee completely and I’m never going back). I used Alpha Brain for 3 weeks with fantastic success. My motivation and focus were amazing. At the end of the day I felt as though I had been highly productive, but never felt like I was “on something.” When the bottle ran out, I decided to try Mind Lab Pro because it contains a lot of what Alpha Brain has and much more. I was a little worried about the Lions Mane Mushroom, which I suspect is the ingredient in this that’s killing my motivation. ADHD/ADD brains are the ultimate procrastinators. I’m about a week into this and already I can’t stop myself from goofing off. I’m literally writing this review when I should be working. I haven’t changed anything else in my life and I can’t point to any other reason for the way I’m feeling. I’m just bored and even goofing off isn’t very satisfying. I’ve been snacking a little more as well, which is never good. I’m sure Mind Lab Pro is good for some people, but it’s not for me. The only way to know is to try it for yourself. I’m going back to Alpha Brain because I think it was making a positive impact on my daily life, while MLP seems to be at least contributing to the opposite. I hope you find this helpful.

Been going through some depression issues in my life recently. Decided to give this nootropic stack a spin after hearing all about it & having experienced headaches & stomach upsets with some other stacks I’d tried in the past, such as Caffeine + L-Theanine. Took the suggested two pills, and my first thought was that it was amazing. I had greatly improved mood & energy, was able to make good progress on some of my creative pursuits where I’d been struggling with idea block, and seemingly no side effects at all. But then a couple days later, the constipation hit me like a freight train – I seriously had to go to Walgreens & get an enema just to clear it all out.

Stopped taking the pills for a while. Then I thought maybe I’d just become so engrossed in my work that I’d forgotten to drink enough fluids or eat properly, so I tried taking just one pill a day making sure to drink lots of water & eat fiber this time. Still got constipated to some extent, and the overall positive mental effects were noticeably less. Read some other anecdotal stories from others who have taken Mind Lab Pro, and found out that digestive issues, including constipation, are indeed a common side effect from some of the ingredients in this product.

In the end, I’ve decided I am not a big fan of nootropics. If you suffer from a disorder such as ADD that affects your ability to concentrate, these pills are not the answer – you need to see a doctor & work out a treatment plan that works for you (the right meds, guidance, and so on). If you’re just another Joe Average Intellectual looking for ways to boost your energy & creativity like me, my advice would be to take up a mind-body practice such as yoga or tai chi instead. Many issues that people take nootropics for, such as low energy or brain fog, are in fact at least partly caused by unhealthy lifestyle choices.

Good product. Really worked well. But something in it gave me headaches. Had to stop taking it. But other than that definitely worth the try.

I like how they are the right size for swallowing, not too big for me. Been only taking for a couple of weeks now, and haven’t noticed any significant difference yet, except I seem to sleep a little better. Will keep going thou because I think they are working.

  6. Kelly Ellis

My husband and daughter have seen an incredible difference using this product regularly. Less irritability, reduced mood swings, and increased patience to name a few. So worth it.

    Works really good

  8. Nicole

I used this product daily for three weeks. It is ineffective and a waste of money in my opinion. It did not increase my focus at all.

I would not buy this product again. Despite it’s suggested warranties, I cannot return it via Amazon. Which is where I bought it.
