My husband saw this on TV and told me to order it! I found it on Amazon. When it arrived we opened it up and put it together. Very simple. But it is not as powerful as described. It is good for cleaning dishes and pots but not much else.

I am wondering how I ever lived without this cleaner scrubber. Its lightweight, powerful, which makes cleaning a dreamy breeze. I use it it the bathroom to keep tub and tiles sparkling, and in the kitchen, I also use the to scrub pots and pans, etc

This is a review of the “Horsepower” power scrubber with a standard battery.
1) Brush Spin Force Deteriorated After One Use:
The TV advertising looked good, so I bought “Horsepower”. I only used it once to clean a dirty 4×4′ tiled shower floor. It was slightly rough to prevent slipping with a DCOF (Dynamic Coefficient Of Friction) value of 42.
After power scrubbing with moderate force, the floor looked like new. However, toward the end of the job, “Horsepower lost most of its spin power to such an extent that it stopped or stalled out with moderate force. It would only spin with very light force which was insufficient to clean the tile and grout.
I was not sure if the spin power or torque reduction was intentional. After the initial break-in, the power reduction by brush head slippage may have been a safety measure to prevent brush damage on delicate objects. If not, significant internal wear caused it. Out of the box, the brush head was tight but could be rotated by hand with some effort with the motor off. After the job was finished, it could be easily rotated with the motor off. It seemed there was a slip-collar that transferred power from the motor shaft by friction and allowed some slippage that limited torque as the scrubbing force was increased. That may have been intentional to either prevent brush damage or protect delicate objects being cleaned. On the other hand, the collar may have worn to such an extent that the brush could only spin with very light force. A more durable design using more wear-resistant materials would have prevented this from happening.
2) Insufficient Battery Life:
I started with a fully charged battery. The battery indicator dropped from level 4 (100%) to level 1 (25%) after about 20 minutes of cleaning the 4×4′ shower floor. It was too short.
3) General opinion:
I bought this product because of the impressive TV ads. It only worked once before losing spin power, but still ran with very light force. I was disappointed in its short battery life which was only sufficient for small jobs. I returned this product for those reasons.

Product works great. Contacted seller about getting some more stainless steel brushes twice and have yet to hear anything back. I haven’t been able to find replacements on Amazon either.

I really like this cleaning tool. It’s light but powerful and the brush head is very easy to clean. But one problem occurred when I went to change brush heads– the connector piece (the brown, round plastic piece in the center of the head in the photo) came off when I detached the head that came attached and it stayed lodged inside the brush head instead of on the post on the actual handle as it should have. My husband was able to get it out and I switched brush heads, but when I took that one off, again the connector came off and lodged inside this brush head. So I guess I’m just going to have to decide which one I want to use and just leave that one on for all jobs.

Only works when it wants to.
Works very intermittently
I had to go back to my Rubbermaid product which is smaller

This worked great for four months, but then I pulled off an attachment and the piece that holds it on broke came off. I tried to reattach it but cannot. It only has a 30-day warranty, so it was a waste of money. I have now bought brushes that attach to my drill, and that of course will last much longer for much less money.

I am over 80 and my daughter bought this scrubber for me after she could not find anything powerful locally. I am not very strong but am determined to still do tasks myself and this makes my life much easier. I love that it is cordless and it seems to run forever on one charge. Very good battery. I have been using it in the kitchen every day and also in the bathroom. It makes scrubbing and cleaning so much easier for me. It is lightweight and strong. I especially like the flat brush and the steel wool. Especially the steel wool helped me remove some very stubborn stains from my pots and pans. I have used it so much that it has frayed a bit which is to be expected but that seems to make it work even better. I would like to be able to buy some replacement brush heads and steel wool in the future.

This is a power scrubber that does the job well, it cleans up the stains that used to require lots of manual scrubbing, saved me lots of time and effort. I used it extensively everyday on cleaning those cookware like pans, pots and Chinese wok. It literally cuts my cleaning time by half and keep me away from hand strain.
Some may worry about the size and weight of this tool, so I took a picture with me holding it in my hand to give you a rough idea of its size, it fits just fine. The weight is not an issue at all, it’s really light-weight and any adult can handle at ease . However, I wouldn’t say it’s perfect, one improvement I would suggest is that they should adopt a more ergonomic design of the handle, so your fingers can easily wrap around it so it will be more comfortable for prolonged use.
Having said that, I would definitely recommend this to anyone he needs to do household cleaning regularly.

I started with the bathroom with the flat brush and was just what I needed. Tried to clean my oven door hoping that it would work like on TV, it didn’t. Tried the scouring brush on stove rings and was labour’s intensive
