I really am glad I made this purchase. I was tired of taking meds for my heartburn
    It’s working great

  3. Cindy Lee

Great stuff you don’t notice the change at first. I didn’t know it was working until one day I forgot to take my prescription med. for heartburn I didn’t take it for 2 days & omg I didn’t have any heartburn at all. I always get heartburn when I don’t take my medicine & sometimes i get heartburn when I take my medicine. This probiotic shouldn’t cost this much bc a lot of people need this & can’t afford it. I’m one of them. I will buy more when I can afford to. I want off prescription medication this will help me get off it. If you can afford to buy it then you should bc it works great. You won’t be disappointed.

I think I made a mistake buying this product. It is a fermented liquid and I wanted to try it because I need help with increasing the beneficial flora in my gut. After I ordered it I realized the manufacturer doesn’t disclose exactly what the ingredients are so that was my first clue not to take it. I contacted them to ask for more detailed information about their quality control and did get a reply back that I thought was satisfactory. However the person told me they get a 3rd party to check on them and determine their quality control. But there is no mention of this on the label or the box. Seems like this would be something you’d want your customers to know. Right after I received this reply, the product was delivered. You can see from the picture the condition it was delivered in. It is the manufacturers responsibility to to wrap their product so it doesn’t break or leak because Amazon is just going to put it in a box with a little bit of air pillows and then ship it. This manufacturer put the bottle of fermented liquid in a flimsy box and only wrapped the bottle in a loose bubble wrap bag. The result was the bottle moved all over while it was being shipped. When I received it, there was leakage everywhere indicating the lid was not sealed well. This made the product unstable because you are supposed to refrigerate it after opening. Well it got opened during shipping and was exposed to very hot temperatures. I was afraid to use the product because it may have been tainted since it is fermented. I contacted the manufacturer again and they responded that they would speak to Amazon. Well the problem is in their packaging, not Amazon. Then I tried to return the product and got a message from Amazon that this product is not returnable. So I had to throw away money. I’m reporting this because someone may purchase this product, have the same experience, take it anyway and then get sick.

It’s too soon for me to say whether this probiotic is doing anything beneficial for me. For now, I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt, and set my overall rating strictly based on taste. There’s so much misinformation here regarding the taste, I think it’s worth reviewing early, just to address that.

Lots of reviews saying it is bitter. It is not even the tiniest bit bitter. Not at all.

Lots of reviews saying it tastes like apple cider vinegar. It doesn’t taste at all like apple cider vinegar, or any vinegar for that matter. I defy anybody who says it tastes like apple cider vinegar to actually do a side-by-side taste test with apple cider vinegar, and then tell us that they taste alike.

I think the proper way to interpret these comments are:

    “Bitter” = “I don’t like it”

“Apple cider vinegar” = It *looks* like apple cider (not at all like apple cider vinegar) so that gets me thinking apple cider, but it tastes sour not sweet, so that gets me thinking vinegar: apple cider vinegar! (Also, lots of other people saying “apple cider vinegar,” so that gets me thinking apple cider vinegar.)

In truth, the predominant taste is sour. Sour like grapefruit juice. (But not at all bitter. Yes, grapefruit can sometimes be bitter. This is not. It’s just sour.)

If you like a good (not bitter, but unsweetened) grapefruit juice, you’ll probably like this. I actually look forward to it each morning! It has that same kind of sour but deeply satisfying, almost umami-type feeling as good grapefruit juice.

If you don’t like grapefruit juice, you probably won’t like this. And if you hate grapefruit juice, you’ll almost certainly hate the taste of this.

    It’s as simple as that.

I was suffering from constant dizziness and googled to see if the prescription antacid I was taking twice a day could be causing it. Um, YES! It is a very common side effect because after you take it for more than 3 months it can deplete you of magnesium and folic acid. Low magnesium can cause dizziness. So I decided to try a probiotic to see if possibly I can stop taking the antacid. It worked. I have not taken any antacid for over a week or more now. I have had slight heartburn a couple of times but nothing serious at all. I also feel like my digestive system is working a lot better and I feel great! Another plus is I feel like my appetite is much more normal now. I no longer have the urge to eat, Eat, EAT like I did. And of course that has started making the scale move a little in the right direction! I can’t say for sure that this product is what has caused all these positive changes but I can say with certainty that they all happened when I started taking it. The taste isn’t delicious but it sure isn’t hideous. If you have ever taken or made a drink out of apple cider vinegar, you will be just fine taking this!

So I ordered this product after reading some reviews to try something new for my gut health. I received it today and it seemed like it was packaged well. But the bottle did leak a bit into the plastic wrap it was wrapped in and also the box it was first wrapped in. It seems that it leaked due to pressure build up in the bottle. I did try it, while crossing my fingers, and it does have a strong apple cider vinegar taste and is also slightly carbonated. I’m not sure if that is due to the live cultures or not, but I think that’s also the reason for the pressure build up and spill during shipping. I will update my review when I finish this bottle and let you know how things go.
