Oiled and tested out the Superun treadmill vs the Lichico treadmill that I bought from TikTok. Amazon does sell it too but it was cheaper on TikTok ($150 with tax). Honestly Deerrun’s is not a bad treadmill for the price (paid $300 with tax). My main focus was speed, quietness, and usability. Incline was a plus. I ordered this and the lichico because 99% of reviews these days are sponsored and I wanted to test both for myself. I bought both with my own money, not sponsored, so hope this helps.
Speed- Superun does go up to 10mph, the lichoco goes to 8.7mph. I plan on wearing a watch and testing out the true speed to make sure it’s accurate.
Quietness- Deerun is a bit louder even at lower speeds. the belt makes a thumping sound with each rotation. Lichico is much smoother, doesn’t make a sound with each rotation. running on it feels easier and smoother.
Usability- LOVE the quick speed functions on the Deerrun. No speed function on Lidico.
The handle bars are not the best on Superun but if left at a slightly angled position and screwed tight, it does stay up. Lichico handle stays up pretty well.
Superun’s Belt is 3 inches shorter than Lichico (44.5” vs 47.5”) so I do have to take shorter strides and be more careful when running versus the Lichico. I’m 5,10 for reference.
Superun’s Incline is a nice feature, however, it’s manual and a 2 person job or a prop or “jack” or some sorts is needed. I honestly prefer it without the incline as the belt is too short to get the proper strides needed for an inclined jog. Lichico has no incline. I do wonder if I can use something to prop it up a bit for an incline.
Lastly, Superun is quite heavy compared to the Lichico, I think it’s 90lbs vs 50lbs. However the Lichico seems more stable when I’m running. The Superun feels a bit unstable at high speeds, especially with the incline up. I think it’s the longer belt that gives stability to the Lichico while being lighter.
Overall, it’s not a bad treadmill. But even with the incline, speed function, and 1.3mph higher speed, I do prefer the Lidico. Something about the light weight, simple, yet stable build makes me feel more comfortable on it, so I will be returning the Superun. Still a 7.5/10, but the Lidico is a solid 9/10.

I wish the treadmill would fold without needing the Allan key, but it is super fast and easy to do. The customer service is OUTSTANDING. The treadmill is quiet and takes up very little room:-)

I’m loving my Deer run, portable treadmill. Assembly is pretty easy. The pad is somewhat short , I wish it could have been made longer. However, after using it for a few times, I got used to running on without the fear of not having enough room for my full strides. It works just fine. I also love the pit pat app that comes with it, it’s interactive and fun to use.

I shopped around quite a bit for a treadmill that would fit my family’s requirements. Higher weight limit and speed were essential while also being compact enough to be functional in an 850sq condo, and this hit the mark better than any other I could find.
I should note that the white panel at the back is just a poster board I’ve taped to the arms to hide/help with cable management from my printer and router. On top of that having a color (pink/white) that actually fits with my vapor wave/90s anime lofi style decor was also a huge perk as I take a lot of photos and video for my home business. It’s fits in seamlessly.
Setting it up was fairly easy, I appreciated that they tied a tag around the cord for the panel to connect, so it didn’t fall down into the arm of the unit. Came with a nice hefty allen wrench that I’ll probably use on other projects from now on too. Belt was already attached and they included a bottle of lubricant as well.
It should be noted that newer models do not come with a heart rate bracelet or the NFC reader, however the phone app still pairs and functions. I had to contact customer support to confirm this, and they were very helpful. I’ve done a few activities in the app and it seems like it could be a good motivational addition, putting you live against others, that said I typically prefer to watch tv while using it just personally.
It’s sturdy, the heaviest of our family doesn’t tip or rock it, it’s plenty wide/long enough for my stride at 5’8”. I’ve had no issues with the speed skipping around like others have mentioned. It does slow down rather than immediately stopping which I actually like, as otherwise I tend to get a bit of vertigo.
It weighs 80lbs, but lifting the edge to use the wheels it feels pretty easy. I probably won’t be moving mine much but having the option is really nice in such a small space.
I’d say this is a great buy if you’re looking for a compact machine that hits the marks for higher weight limit and speed, aesthetic, and after purchase customer support.
