The Brillia Health Cough control & Cold-Flu recovery is a homeopathic remedy that can be used for multiple illnesses. The cough control is good for cough suppressant/antihistamine, reduce frequency and intensity and more. It comes in a pack of 20 tablets that should be dissolved in the mouth. The cough control says that it is safe for ages 3 and up and non-drowsy. They do have the following inactive ingredients listed, aspartame and sodium saccharin (as well as others). The cold-flu recovery is good for increasing the body’s immune response, reduces illness severity and duration, congestion, body aches and more. This is a package of 40 tablets that should dissolve in the mouth. It is good for ages 1 and up and non-drowsy. Both of my packages have an expiration date of 9/23 (& I purchased these on 3/16/23). So far we have not been ill and felt like we needed to take these. We have used homeopathic remedies in the past and had great results, so we are excited to have these in our cabinet. It is really nice to have several remedies in one pill form so you don’t have to do lots of research to figure out which remedy you need and will be very nice to have when we travel in a convenient pill form. Oh and also this came with a nice brochure that tells a little about the company and more information on the products, including contact info if you have any questions.

I tend to respond better to homeopathic medicine.. I tried more traditional first but after taking many doses of potentially liver damaging meds with no relief I tried a different approach. It does seem a bit complicated at first getting thru the first more frequent doses but it’s worth it. Finally started seeing improvement of a very stubborn flu.

This is an interesting product. On the one hand it’s a decent idea to have this on hand in case you get symptoms, you can head them off at the pass. On the other hand it expires in fairly short order, so you don’t want to just keep it on hand. The good news is, at least at the moment, you can get overnight delivery so perhaps you don’t have to keep it on hand just in case.

So, does it work as advertised? Um, hard to say. It took me a while to get sick after receiving this, but it did finally happen. Did this make my case be not as rough as it might have been? Maybe, it certainly wasn’t a bad case, but perhaps it wasn’t going to be a bad case anyways.

Bottom line, I don’t think I’m convinced enough to shell out $49 on the next occurrence. If that turns out to be a mistake next time around, perhaps I will come back around to it.

  4. Tea With Lia

Brillia Health cold flu recovery + cough control homeopathic cold relief. These are made in Lithuania and distributed from Arizona. They do contain aspartame and lactose, fyi. The recommended directions on the Recovery box was to take 8 tablets for the first day. One tablet every 30 minutes for the first 2 hours and one tablet taken 3 more times at equal intervals throughout the day. That seems like a lot. I don’t get sick often but when I do, I’m usually down and out for the count for almost 2 weeks so I don’t know if this would even last me that long.

My immune system was feeling low one day and I had a bit of the sniffles with a slightly sore throat so I took one tablet to see if it would do anything. I didn’t notice a huge difference and opted to drink hot tea and take vitamin c after until I felt better. The taste kind of put me off. The little tablet dissolved fast, but it had a strange taste that remind me of how the doctors office smells. Kind of anti-septic. “Clean”. I didn’t like that. I could see kids refusing these.

Also, my biggest peeve is that the expiration date on these packs is 9/23. So less than 6 months away. I’m disappointed by that. Like I said, I don’t get sick super often, maybe a couple times a year, so I’m not sure these will get much use between now and then, other than for boosting my immune system.

Tbh, from what little I know about the science behind these I can rationalize the high cost. However, compared to my more affordable homeopathic standbys, I think I’ll pass in the future. I will update in the future if I experience any improved results.

Always my first choice for cold and flu symptoms, and it works with your immune system to get reed of the symptoms. It works like a charm. My spouse who dislike medications took this and was amazed at how it quickly worked. I recommend it if, it’s in your budget range, because it’s a bit pricey, BUT grat value.

  6. Mrz Becks

I recently tried the Brillia Health Cold Flu Recovery + Cough Control, and I have to say that I was extremely disappointed with the product. Despite the manufacturer’s claims that it is a clinically-proven multi-symptom support, I did not notice any relief from my cold or flu symptoms while taking it.

In addition to being ineffective, I was also shocked by the high cost of this product. It is one of the most expensive homeopathic remedies that I have ever tried, and it did not deliver the results that I was hoping for. I was particularly surprised to see that it contains aspartame, which is a controversial artificial sweetener that has been linked to a number of negative health effects.

Overall, I would not recommend the Brillia Health Cold Flu Recovery + Cough Control to anyone who is looking for relief from cold or flu symptoms. Not only did it not work for me, but the inclusion of aspartame in the ingredients and the high cost were major turn-offs. I would suggest looking for alternative homeopathic remedies that are free from artificial sweeteners and are more reasonably priced.

This product was expensive & didn’t even work to get rid of our cough & nasal congestion. Cough syrup was more effective at clearing it out

  8. Pickle for a nickle

Works well to alleviate cough and cold symptoms. Takes the edge off. Easy to take. They are dissolvable and taste good.
