    We have a small counter space for a microwave so it’s hard to find a decent one. I researched a lot and thought this one was “it.” Well, it will work OK, but my main problem is the beeping is ANNOYING and you CANNOT stop it by opening the door! And it beeps WAY too many times! The other thing I don’t love (although not a deal breaker) is that it doesn’t beep to remind you something was left in the microwave. We temporarily were using a cheap Walmart one (was bought for college use). I actually liked that one’s features BETTER! This one looks nicer with the stainless steal trim. I’m trying to adjust to it, but you can’t even cover the noise since it appears to come from inside the microwave. It does slide easily as others stated. We have a small block at the back on the button side which usually keeps it in place. But it is worse than the cheapy one for sliding (will be getting rubber grips/pads to help). Decent price, decent microwave. Does basics we need it for (I do like the 30 second start button and quick start minute ones). Just not loving beeping (the worse offense!), lack of reminder, and sliding.

    EASY to use without the automatic activation of the “Child Safety Lock”. My new Black+Decker Microwave Oven (I’m sticking with this brand and will not make the mistake of changing to another brand) was purchased as a result of my previously purchased microwave oven wouldn’t release the “Child Safety Lock” while fully food contents inside. I had only been in ownership of the previous microwave for about 5 months and this was the first time it failed to release the “Child Safety Lock.” Even after reviewing the instruction manual in the event this happens, it still wouldn’t unlock. It took me a few days of research for a replacement, and I decided to return to using the Black+Decker Brand. I’m so happy with my decision and this isn’t the only Black+Decker Brand product that I own.

    I love the size of this microwave oven. It is the perfect fit for an apartment with limited counter space. It also has a programmable range of power strengths from one to ten. I’d recommend it.

    Fits nicely on kitchen countertop and is easy to use. Like the light inside while rotating. Does the job perfectly, no matter what is being ‘nuked’. Only disappointment is the panel isn’t lit.

    Just what I was looking for, right size and simplicity in design and operation. If you purchase this and tend to avoid reading instructions (like me) know that you can add increments of 30 seconds by pressing the start button. For example: if you press 2 (for 2 minutes) then press start it will add an additional 30 seconds. Or if you press start immediately, it will microwave for 30 seconds. I’m very happy with it so far.

    Heats fantastic for co a 700 watt microwave. Black and Decker is a brand that I trus. Great interior light. Easy to use and have touch controls with 1 button programming up to 9 minutes. Looks fantastic and is easy to operate and read programming buttons.

    Me fui con la finta de la fotografía, en realidad es pequeño. Está bien, si vives solo o en pareja. Pero donde falla, es que por lo mismo de su tamaño no tiene tanta potencia a comparación con otros que he tenido. Nada que, no se pueda resolver programando unos 2 minutos más. Llegó rápido y súper bien empacado. Así que, dependiendo lo que busques es lo que te recomiendo.

    I had to replace my Tappan microwave I’ve had since January of 1993. That’s not a typo. I’ve had it almost 32 years. Original lightbulb too. Broke my heart when it stopped working normally. Obviously they don’t make those anymore. Soooo…

    After tons of research, I chose this Black & Decker. I knew it had a push bar to open the door versus a pull handle like my Tappan. I wanted a handle. Still getting used to the change. Has nothing to do with the functionality; just me learning the change.

    Only issue is it can slide around a bit when pushing the bar to open the door or press the buttons or shut the door. I solved that with a $1 non-slip pad from the dollar store I put underneath it. Issue solved!

    Easy to plug in and use. It looks very elegant and modern, yet it also blends in with my fairly eclectic decor. It’s quiet and beeps 5 times when done. The power levels seem extremely accurate. Fits all my larger dinner plates and TV dinners.

    Bottom line: after all my research, I’m confident I chose the right one for my needs. Keep in mind, I’m single with my kitty cat. So it’s just me using it as an adult.

    After having bad luck with several microwaves ordered online that died prematurely, the BLACK+DECKER EM031MB11 Digital Microwave Oven has been a pleasant surprise. This microwave has done us well and has not given us any issues. It works great, isn’t too loud, and consistently cooks our food to perfection. I’m very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend this microwave to anyone looking for a reliable and efficient option. It’s been a great addition to our kitchen!
