I did not realize that this unit is not actually an air conditioner… Because of the cost I really thought that it had the ability to change the temperature of the air, but the lowest temperature setting will depend on the temperature in your actual space, because of this I’m a little bit disappointed. If I just wanted a fancy smart fan I probably would’ve just bought something cheap, I do like how it works. The very expensive duvet cover style blanket that it comes with basically is hollow like a duvet cover and you probably could save yourself $200 and actually just use a duvet cover to achieve the same thing, it is a giant Dryer hose like thing that pumps air into your blanket at the side of the bed. It’s definitely bulky, and for someone who is very hot and doesn’t want to be underneath a blanket at all kind of useless because it’s completely reliant on pumping the air into the sheet . I am still going to give it some time before I give up on it, because it was SO expensive, but I got it for my partner who dies from being warm. If it was for me I’d have sent it back. I guess it depends what you’re looking for.
Without air conditioning in your home, it really just blows air around. When we had the heat wave my house was around 80° I would put an ice pack the side the air intake on the floor of where I have the budget and it was cool the air blowing into the blanket by one or 2° but otherwise it stays pretty close to room temperature. If you do not have air-conditioning this will not make your place or space cold! I think that this was a misunderstanding on my part, that’s what I was expecting. I will give it four stars because it works like it supposed to and it is a smart device with a great remote control it’s quite fancy looking it’s very sturdy, the hose itself and the attachment for the mattress pretty flimsy the plastic that’s supposed to hold it between the mattress and the boxspring it doesn’t stay together so it falls constantly but every other piece is very good quality the device itself and the remotes are very very high-quality, if this is what you’re looking for than it does the job and it’s great and I think it’s warranty so probably worth the price in that case .

This is a “Where has this been all my life type product”. It seemed a bit gimmicky and yet for the high price tag, since on sale I gave it a chance. I would by again and again that’s how much I love and need this product in my life. Let me break down the review.
Sheet Sold Separate: I highly recommend this!! I almost didn’t get it, but so glad I did. Trust me when I say it is soft yet durable like hotel sheets. It is similar to a duvet. There are button openings and that is what you unsnap to put the Bed Jet nozzle in. You can even use two Bed Jets in certain sizes so both partners can adjust their own settings. Under the sheet is little stitched valves that let the cool or warm air through, the material itself gets drastically cooler/warmer depending on the setting you use.
How it works: The BedJet uses the air from the room so the cooler your room, the colder the air being blown. It has three auto-programmed modes you can set either warm or cool to your liking and the percentage of airflow. This has come in handy when half asleep, Let’s say I have mode one is 75% when I feel warm and then wake up chilled, I have mode 2 set to 15% which still keeps me cool but no longer chilled. The pre-programmed button makes it easy to hit while half asleep. The remote lights up with the slightest movement, so you can easily see it at night.
Timer: You can pre-program the timer for auto-shut off. I haven’t really done this, the preset is 9hrs and I usually just shut off when I wake up in the morning.
Noise: You will hear it. It sounds like a white noise machine. Some people like this sound but for me it can be somewhat disruptive with sleep on the higher settings. If I am incredibly hot, I can usually tune it out just until I cool down.
Hot Flashes: This is why I got the BedJet. It has helped me get through insanely rough nights of waking up 3 times an hour due to hot flashes. This is worth it ladies!!
Sensory: Overstimulation and chills from an overhead fan but sleep in a poorly insulated room that becomes hot during the summer or cold during winter? Maybe you always have to sleep with sheets, even in a warm room. This helps with all of that. The consistent flow of air evenly distributes and makes the sheets feel cool. If you have the BedJet sheet, it will come out of the hole/valves and significantly cool your body in a way an overhead fan cannot do. Same with the warm air, which can greatly reduce the need for heated plug-in blankets. (I have gone through my fair share of those)
Raynaud’s sufferers- This fan blows both cool and warm air depending on setting, I only feel safe using the warm setting awake although you can program it to auto shut off. The cool air can get quite cool depending on your room. I recommend the pre-set to a low percent until you know best what works for you. Even at 25% my toes have been quite chilled, and I had to turn completely off when half asleep or lower it to 10% or turn it off completely.
Other Use: Pop it out from under the sheets and it becomes a cool stream of air you can point at your bed of towards wherever you are sitting, same with warm air in the winter. My cat especially loves this during the day when she is taking over my bed and I’m not using it.
Overall, I would give this fan and the separately sold sheet over 5 stars if I could. It has helped me get better sleep with less frequency of waking up. Everything from the remote lighting up, the programmable pre-sets which make it easy to select at night. Constant nightly and at time daily use for months and it is still working great! This reminds me of the patient-controlled tubing they put into your hospital sheet/gown before surgery to make you comfortable. This is definitely a must have, Highly Recommend!

Quality construction, nice remote, easy to use. Operates as advertised, consistent temperature control, night sleeping now much better. Make sure to use the ‘Biorhythm’ temp control function – settings will adjust automatically through the night for a comfortable sleep. Before I used it I just set a standard temp but then in the middle of the night I sometimes would wake up to turn the temp down or up.

I’ve had it for two nights now and I had my doubts about such an expensive item. I got this on prime day and the discount made it worth trying. However, now that I’ve used it, I would GLADLY pay the full price for it. It is as good as they say. It really does cool you UNDER the blankets. I’m an EXTREMELY hot sleeper. I have to have a fan on me. First night I had the fan on because I wasn’t sure. By the second night, I had the BedJet set to 45% fan, and my fan was off. And I was COOL and comfortable all night. It is absolutely wonderful to sleep so comfortably. If you are a hot sleeper, please please do yourself a favor and TRY it. You will not be sorry. It is wonderful. You will really enjoy this if you have the night sweats. I would absolutely buy it again and now my gf is thinking she wants to dual zone so she can have her side set up the way she likes it. She’s THAT impressed with what it does for me.

Powerful fan. 100% fan and is still quite enough to sleep. Single zone works well on a queen bed.

I’m happy to review this. I have had it two nights now. It solved my problem.
Ever since I started having hot flashes and then gained weight, I have been sleeping hot every night for a few years. I had been waking up all night every night. Hot than cold. Over and over. I have had these bed jets two nights now. I am so happy and able to sleep comfortably now. This solved my problem I’m really sleeping better. I was a little cold last night, so I snuggled up to my husband and was happy to have his body heat for a change. With bed jet I don’t have to turn on extra air-condition at night. I am pretty sure that I will save a good bit on my air-condition bill because of this unit. This is great!
This bed jet blows a breeze under the blanket and it feels great. I like that it blows on top of us so that I don’t have to deal with a pad. The sheet that it blows in to is very soft and seems of good quality.
The heat option is nice, but I don’t think I will need to use it.
I bought the double unit for a king bed and I like that I can easily move one of units around to the guest room. We could have been ok with just one unit because my husband does not get as hot as I do.
It is an expensive unit but to me worth the investment to me. I was looking at this unit for several years. I researched several options and even bought sharper image cooling pad that did not stay cool through the night. I tried one other cooling pad at sleep number store before I bought this one.
The drawbacks are that
1. the remote is not back lit and you can’t see it at night. Neither the remote nor the phone app show what your settings are very well so you must guess. Seems like they could do a better job with the remote but When I reset the settings the light comes on for just enough time to help me see
2. I must look under the bed to see what my setting are.
3. Don’t lose your remoter because you can’t turn the unit on without the remote.
4. It doesn’t cool it uses the air form under your bed but that doesn’t seem to keep me from being comfortable. When I added my small water cooler it was too cold.
5. I would like to see it have a cooling option, but it still works great without it. I experimented last night and put my $30.00 mini water cooler under the bed to make the air very cold. It was too cold.
6. The unit sounds like a soft fan. I don’t mind the soft noise it helps me sleep but my husband complained about it.
One week in I added a fifth star to my review. I have to turn the unit on the lowest setting so I won’t be cold. I tried the little sponge dipped in peppermint oil and we LOVED the experience. The only problem is that the smell only lasted about 20 min.

Many people will say, “you paid $500 for a fan and a hose?” Actually it is more than that since it has heat, thermostat and simply a well thought out system.
As a kid, I can remember complaining to my parents that I couldn’t sleep because of the heat (no a/c in our house then). My Mom told me to try sleeping under the bed since she knew it was cooler there. For an adventurous 9 year old skinny little kid this works fine but not for anyone else really. Point being is that I always knew there was cooler air available under the bed and as an adult, I always wished there was a way to utilize that cooler air in the bed. The BedJet does just that. I bet the sharks are mad they didn’t get in when they had the chance. For 500 USD, this thing is pricey but it is also very good quality and I would buy it again.
