No me gustó que no cumple con lo que dice, no enfría escurre agua no caben las rejillas que llevan el agua y solo funcionó una ves después ya no prendió. Osea que un muy mal producto.

Comparing the negative reviews to the positive reviews to my own experience, it’s pretty clear that most of the people giving this thing a bad review didn’t realize what they were actually buying. This will NOT air condition your entire house. It’s basically just a small fan that blows colder air than a regular fan at you. Like regular fans, that means will not cool off your entire house or apartment, but it will keep the area in front of it cool.

And it’s amazing! We put it on the ottoman in front of the couch while watching tv, and having a regular floor fan behind us with this thing in front was way cooling, much better than the fan by itself. It’s not going to replace an actual air conditioner on a super hot day, but it’s got just enough cooling power to be really helpful if you can’t use an a/c (maybe because you live in an apartment and technically aren’t allowed to have one, or you can’t afford to buy one because yiiiiikes they’re expensive). But it’s really helpful for if a fan just isn’t enough to cool you down.

Also because of its small size, I find I prefer using it to fans when it’s a little cooler out. Sometimes fans are obnoxious, they’re loud, they blow things over, but this little thing doesn’t have the blowing power to knock all your papers off your desk like a big floor fan does. I like to just have it on the ottoman blowing on my propped-up feet. It’s supreme.

I see some people complaining about how you can’t turn the lights off, but you can. You need to keep hitting the light button, you have to cycle through all the light options but there’s an “off” option at the end of them. The lights that indicate what settings are on don’t turn off, but they’re really minor – like, they aren’t really bright.

I especially like that this thing is small enough that it won’t be hard to store somewhere in winter when it presumably won’t be needed, unlike those big oscillating fans which are awkward to find a place for.

Cons: On the highest settings it’s kind of noisy, but it’s a steady noise level so it’s easy to learn to tune out and turn the tv volume up over.
Also the plug for it gets EXTREMELY hot after it’s been on. I don’t think it’s necessarily a fire hazard, but I would give it a few minutes after you turn it off before you unplug it from the wall.

All in all, if you know what to expect from this little guy, you will really enjoy it and appreciate it. Don’t go into this thinking it’s a $35 air conditioner that will put your entire home into the arctic circle. It will give a nice cold blast to the area about 6 feet in front of it, which cools more efficiently than a fan but isn’t as effective as an actual air conditioner. This guy is an air *cooler*.

Side note: You’re encouraged to put ice cubes in the fill thing, and it can take an entire tray of ice cubes to fill it up!

Edit: One year later and it’s still great and I am still genuinely baffled by all the negatives. This thing got me through some nearly 100 degree days. It does NOT leak if you use it correctly other than some condensation drips, which iirc it does mention can happen. I really truly do not understand the bad reviews, like people were expecting this thing that’s smaller than a CD player to cool their entire homes all day by itself??

Tldr: it’s just a fan that doesnt blow hot air on a hot night. cool air, not freezing on tap water. Put a bottle in the tank to make it last longer than 3 hours.

I have a 1 sq feet room. On a usual night around summer time my room is hot and humid enough to build sweat on the body part laying on the bed. It takes about 1 hour of cold tap water to lower the room temp enough so I dont sweat on the bed but I still feel kind of sticky. The seller claims that the product can shoot a water mist for 10 hours but in 1 hour on high mist it has already used up 1/3 of the water tank. Even if I set it to low mist I highly doubt it would last 10 hours. That’s why I put a bottle in the tank to supply water by cutting a half inch hole on the side of the cap. Now that’s 10 hours!
It’s also a bad idea to step out of the room since it immedeality resets the cooling process, 1 hour wasted. So if you gotta pee or you farted too much, turning your room into a room of death… suffer or stay cool. The choice is yours…. well. I mean you can always point the air at yourself for maximum effect which ultimately keeps you cool throughout the usage but I dont like having an air flow at me when I’m sleeping, I always wake up with a headache. I give it 3 stars because it does work but its not mind blowing. perfect if you’re a cheapskate and you dont mind being a little sticky.

Doesn’t work. Save your money and the hassle of trying to return it.

I got it cause my dungeon master uses it for our sessions and keeps all us cool or room temp in a hot room.
So i bought the same one. My bedroom is bigger than our dnd room. It doesn’t cool down the whole room but it is next to me and helps keep me cool.
    I love it.
Have not tried it with ice cubes or freeze the filter often

I bought this to aid in cooling down an extremely small bedroom – cannot fit more than a queen sized bed and two nightstands in it, only to shimmy yourself around to get to the bathroom – because the summer heat in Arizona is cray cray. Loved that it would be delivered same day (Metropolitan area for the win!). Had this little baby in 2 hours or less – and immediately opened it to set it up in said bedroom. Instructions suggest cartridge to be frozen. Well, that was a bummer; looks like I had to wait (story of my life). I soaked the cartridge, according to directions, and placed into freezer. Everything was ready for prompt usage in the am.
Next morning, I woke up, did my shimmy shimmy around the bottom of the bed, and in a blink of an eye, fed the cats and made my coffee. I took the cartridge out of the freezer and inserted it into my new Artic Air Godsend. Turned it on, and waited for the cool blast that would signal the end of hell itself….and waited….and waited……nothing. Sure, it was cool, sure there was a faint trickle of air escaping the vents, but nothing like advertised; I think I breathe harder walking to the front door. I thought, maybe it’s just in the wrong place…after all, isn’t it all about location location location? I placed the Artic Air so the air flow would be directed across the bed. And waited again (I think you can see a pattern emerging here). Still nothing. Then I remembered…Good Things Come To Those Who Wait…..I left the room, watched an episode of Enterprise (worse theme song ever! I WILL fight you on that) and returned with renewed hope. Nothing changed. I could see condensation forming on the vents so knew it had some temperature change but it definitely did not change the temperature in the room. I even thought it may have just needed a little help, after all, we get by with a little help from our friends, right? I placed a fan next to it, to give it a little more umphh, and STILL NOTHING!!!!! My heart sank, for the devil himself would be hard pressed to remain in this room during the day. In conclusion, this is not a buy I would recommend – save yourself the grief and buy a window AC unit. I know I am.
