    The desk board buddy is as presented, the included calculator is convenient to use, the board cleans easy, I did misunderstand that phone slot did not have a charger built in, but that was my misunderstanding. The markers that you pay for as an add on, are no good, all of them write too light, like the markers are about to run out of ink, not worth the extra money, There are other makers of the same thing for less money, Paid $59 on FB, my bad.

    UPDATE after a month or so of using: I think I was a little unfair in my original 3 star review. I took the case of my iPad and it fits perfectly. I also found I have no need for my phone to be in the slot. Mostly, I decided to update my review because I find myself using this thing everyday for notes and storage. Very Convenient!

    PREVIOUS REVIEW:

    Package arrived on time and packaging was excellent. When I opened the box, the organizer was securely sandwiched between two foam end pieces. Unfortunately the plastic hinge for the top was mis-aligned. It did snap into place but I have my doubts about its longevity.

    I assumed incorrectly they would include a dry erase marker to get me started… not a deal breaker but would seem to make sense to send one given the price.

    Here’s the big no no for me: The picture shows a slot to hold a tablet and a phone. In the picture (including the one on the box) you can see the ipad and phone are slanted backward to form an appropriate viewing angle. THAT IS NOT THE CASE! Hopefully you can see from my pictures, the tablet is straight up and down if not slightly tilted forward making it reasonably useless for the intended purpose. My phone is the same way. Perhaps without cases they may tilt a little but I’m not going to take the case off everytime!

    The rest of the unit is fairly thin plasic but there are some nice storage compartments for pens, paper clips, tacks, etc.
