Description
Centuries ago, Raphael was a blasphemous knight who fought in the Crusades purely for his own mercenary benefit, and to satisfy his taste for killing. Now, condemned for his evil passions and hypocrisy, he wanders the earth a vampire, cursed with first-hand knowledge of the supernatural world he once denied existed. The powerful relic he still possesses from his days as a Crusader has been stolen by a rival vampire who has recruited an army of soulless underlings to aid him in spreading evil. At the time he learns this, Raphael has been hunting this vampire for nearly a century, and it seems the final battle is destined to take place in Prague.
For help in this quest, Raphael must enlist the aid of two humans, David and Susan, who suddenly find themselves immersed in a world they never imagined, entangled with supernatural forces they can’t control. Susan, in particular, finds herself conflicted as she struggles with her inexplicable attraction to Raphael. In the end, both Susan and Raphael will be called upon to exercise courage and faith, and in the process, the question What would happen if a vampire truly accepted God? is answered.

Debbie Viguie is AWESOME! I finished reading the entire Psalm23 mysteries in a month and wanted to find others she had written. Though I wish the Psalm 23 mysteries could go on forever the storyline and writing of the Kiss trilogy is totally addicting… I’m on my second book in a week!

I brought this book for my daughter,so don’t know much about it. It arrived on time, inthe time in which was said.

this has to be my very favorite trilogy. I read it at the library when I was kind of done with the whole “vampire romance” trend, out of passive interest, and was not at all expecting something of such AWESOME substance! and the fact that it’s a CHRISTIAN subtheme, and so well on point (not christian bashing…or wildly inaccurate….), I absolutely needed it for my home library. even if you aren’t “religious” this is a wonderful read! I even read it again with my husband and HE loves it (he’s normally a zombies blood and guts kind of reader… haha!)

Wonderful. Superbly written. Ever emotion touches you. This book pulls you in. Can’t put it down. I hope the next book is as enthralling.

Don’t know if I have the words to accurately give a good review without reading book 2; I will say that this book was intense, intriguing and captivating. I want a happy ending for Susan and Raphael. I can’t wait to read book 2.

Oh my goodness, yes! I can’t even go on enough about how much I love this book. I truly love a good vampire tale, and after being disappointed again and again with other books, believe me, this is a good one. I immediately bought the rest of the books in this series and devoured them as well. I so wish the author would write more series like this one!
Sammi –
Decent novel. Need the whole trilogy.

The premise of the story was one too intriguing to pass up and now I am hooked. I couldn’t put it down, so I read it all in one sitting. I am now debating if I really need to sleep tonight or if I should just continue reading the next book in the series. Who needs sleep anyways?

I enjoy this book because is completely different to post-modern culture books and film to Twilight or True blood series. Also I like the believable characters and sense of humor with today popular culture and faith involved in the plot. I hope this book have a sequel. I would recommend to someone who isn’t interest to twilight novels or film.

More complicated, than needs to be. Too much back and forth between past and present for smooth transitions.
