    Buying in bulk and living in a humid location, I have been storing rice, pasta, dried beans, flour etc in jars using dry canning to keep them fresh. This method required an hour long bake in the oven at a low temperature in order to get the jars to seal. With this miracle product I no longer have to dry can. I just put the food in the jar and less than a minute later it is sealed from air, moisture and bugs. Even better, I can open the jar to use a bit of the product and reseal. As a bonus you can use this product to seal and protect produce that you store in the fridge for extra freshness and longer life as well. This is a genius tool at a very affordable price. It is easy to use and has a long life rechargeable battery. It fits both small and large mouth jars.

    This worked for the first four jars. Then it stopped working. So there isn’t much point in buying it.

    Later…I finally figured out that if it didn’t work the first time, I could hit the button again and it works sometimes, sometimes no matter how many times I try, no dice.

    Later yet… the company contacted me and offered a refund. I asked for a replacement instead and it was sent immediately. This one works. I give them 5 stars.
